I have found vnmr to be a bit of a strange program. I did not put much
effort in to figure this one out, and just gave up on X11 beta. I went
back to XDarwin and blackbox wm. With these, vnmr still behaves
strangely, but it works. I would like to hear from anyone else who has
vnmr running remotely from OSX.

Just an addendum to a previous message I posted here. If I unlimit the
stack size for x11 in a shell before running it there, it still
crashes, but the crash log shows a slightly different result shown
below. Instead of KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE it shows
KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS. Still looking for any ideas if any are out > there.
