I've noticed that quartz-wm rebinds keys to its liking when it starts
up, making Cmd the "mod2" key, leaving X11 apps with no mod1 key.
Remapping mod1 to the Cmd key disables the quartz-wm Cmd-` window
switching key. I'd like the best of both worlds, is there a
workaround for this?
quartz-wm doesn't actually rebind any keys, but it does always listen
for either Mod1-` or Mod2-` to do the window cycling
The X server maps the <Option> key to the Mode_switch modifier. If you
want to change that in your .Xmodmap file, remember to deselect the X11
option telling it to update the keymap automatically so your changes
don't get overwritten,
