problem with 'less'

hi all,
  I just installed X11, and now whenever I try to see tha man pages, or
use less I get the following:

[CHAOS:~] eairoldi% less
dyld: less Undefined symbols:
less undefined reference to _PC expected to be defined in
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
less undefined reference to _ospeed expected to be defined in
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
Trace/BPT trap

  Any ideas?
