Every time that I open the terminal application I get the following text asking me to enter the administrator password:

I know that Fink is trying to install the KDE package automatically, and if but I choose to enter the
password or not nothing gets installed and I get to see the same text next time I open the Terminal
application again.

My questions are:
a) Where this message is coming from (what INI file causes the fink command to be executed at startup)

It is probably stored in your Terminal.app preferences. How you managed to get it there is hard to guess.

b) How can I disable this message

Remove the preferences file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist or edit it and remove the reference to that command.
