Hi All,
I have just joined the mailing list. I am currently running into a
problem of connecting remotely to a Solaris X Server. The command
which works generally with Linux X server ssh -X
username@remotemachine doesn't work with Solaris. It seems to work but
then when I execute an X application it comes back with an error Can't
open the display. Since my machine has a private IP I couldn't see any
other option other than tunneling X through SSH. Can anybody help me
to figure out why the remote machine cannot open the display. I am
running X server on OS X 10.3.
Check whether X11 Forwarding is allowed in the sshd_config file on the
Solaris server.
