Yes,
On OS X, X forwarding is disabled by default as a security precaution.
To enable it, do the following:
sudo echo X11Forwarding yes >> /etc/sshd_config
and then go to Preferences -> Network and stop/restart "allow remote
logins"

which works generally with Linux X server ssh -X
username@remotemachine doesn't work with Solaris. It seems to work but
then when I execute an X application it comes back with an error Can't
open the display. Since my machine has a private IP I couldn't see any
other option other than tunneling X through SSH. Can anybody help me
to figure out why the remote machine cannot open the display. I am
running X server on OS X 10.3.
