Hi Rich,
Thanks for a quick response. I was not very clear here when I
asked the question. I am not trying to login to OS X X11. I am trying
to login to Solaris XWindows from OS X X11. I am still getting the same
error after trying as you told. Can't open the display.
The remote solaris machine cannot open the display on the MAC OS X
through SSH tunneling.
Any suggestions!

On OS X, X forwarding is disabled by default as a security precaution.
To enable it, do the following:
sudo echo X11Forwarding yes >> /etc/sshd_config
and then go to Preferences -> Network and stop/restart "allow remote
logins"
