When I run the basicwin program
http://www.cis.ksu.edu/~stough/basicwin/
from the O'Reilly Xlib Programming Manual on Tiger, the window comes
up correctly. But when I resize it, the new text/graphics is often
superimposed on the old text/graphics; sometimes, there are lots of
copies all jumbled together. It seems that the application is
expecting exposed regions to be cleared when they aren't, and it seems
to be timing dependent.
I ran into a similar problem once with a version of fvwm2 on Linux.
But on Linux, other versions of fvwm and other window managers I've
tried worked correctly.
This looks like a bug to me. Does anyone have any thoughts about this?
Alley
