A related question...
I installed the X11-SDK and was expecting a readme or some documentation to let me know what was being installed. Is there some way to tell what is installed with that and if it gets installed correctly? It would be useful to take advantage of the SDK.

Hello,
I am having trouble with the X11 applicaton.
Platform: 12" 1.33 G4 powerbook, OS X 10.3, latest
upgrades.
I installed X11 and X11_SDK. These installs appeared to succeed.
The X11 application appears in /Applications/Utilities/X11 , as
expected.
Clicking the X11 icon starts the program. The X11 menu bar appears,
again as expected. And, encouragingly, the 'fat X' cursor replaces
the arrow cursor. I also ran Gary Kerbaugh's pkgdiff script, as
suggeted at
http://www.chemistry.ucsc.edu/~wgscott/xtal/page1.html
Inspection of the output indicates that all is in order.
However --
When I select 'Terminal' from the X menu bar, nothing happens.
I don't get an X term window.
If I set the X preferences to rootless 'full screen' mode, and activate
with
'Command Option A', I get a non-responsive static screen. ('Command
Option
A' restores the native desktop.)
I have tried playing arround arround witht the display settings, thing
the
problem might lie in incompatable resoluton or # ot color settings, but
this
hasn't helped.
Can you help?
Cheers!
Wayne
