After having it done dozens of times before, my Mac with Mac OS X 10.4.7 (8J135) does not allow me to install X11 because he says it is already installed. However I cannot find it anywhere (usually it us under "Utilities".
Any idea what I can do now?

Heinz, If your installer tells you X11 is installed, it is. The X11.app maybe missing or misplaced. Look under Mac System folder X11 R6 and if not there look on your disc under custom install and see if you can install just X11.app. Or you may just have to look around for the app. Do you have Clix installed? If so look at the system folder for the app. A regular search or spotlight search may not show you an app that is misplaced. If you have text wrangler you can do a search there that will look in hidden folders and files as well. Good luck and ask again if you are still stalled.
