This should "just work". The kernel will automatically run ppc programs under Rosetta. To see this for yourself do something like the following on an intel mac:

$ lipo -thin ppc -output /tmp/xterm.ppc /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm
$ file /tmp/xterm.ppc
/tmp/xterm.ppc: Mach-O executable ppc
$ /tmp/xterm.ppc

and up will pop an xterm window running as a translated ppc program talking to the i386 X server. If you find any X11 programs that don't run correctly, please file bug reports,
