Hi,

I am a new mac user, I am using ibook OS 10.4.4 . So far, I didn't use mac for my research purpose. For the past few days I am struggling hard to load matlab. But all the times I am failed. When ever I tried it says It could not find x11 and asks me to load x11 first. I have down loaded x11 from apple site and tried to install it, but it says its already installed. I wonder installer says its already there and how come my self and matlab could not find it. I also tried from the apple soft ware dvd came with the system. That too couldn't solve my problem. As I read some where I should find X11.app in my utilities as soon as i could install it successfully. Unfortunately I could not find any such.

Can anybody help me out?
Can any body suggest me some literature where I can learn about x11 system clearly?

With regards
Gopi
