Hi,
Trying to have 2 remote windows displayed, and come up
adjacent such that user does not have to "move" second
window. At industrial site utilizing mac mini's w/
cinemax displays. The site has 2 seperate control
system processes that utilize Sun solaris
workstations. They are not connected except by second
ethernet subnet installed for remote view purposes.
>From all the literature was able to get an X11 remote
view from each control systems solaris workstations to
a single Macmini, also was able to get the fonts and
all other aspects working correctly. Would like info
on getting the displays to be automatically side by
side. Now one comes up on top of the other, and have
to "move" it to the side. Can get xwininfo on each
window, but cannot determine how to direct the
placement of second window, or the first for that
matter. using quartz-wm. Any help appreciated.
Thanks...
