Hi All,
I'm having a problem with X11 crashing with a certain remote app.
X11 works fine remotely with xcalc, xclock, etc. The crashing app
works fine using Cygwin in Windows XP. I believe the app uses Java.
Here are some of the log entries and so forth.
Exact behavior:
Open X11 Terminal.
ssh -Y root@srvrname
tpssm (or SMclient... they are both storage managers)
The splash screen appears for the application.
Then, the terminal window disappears and X11 crashes.
Happens every time.
/var/log/windowserver.log

That tracking error happens when you start X11, no matter what is
run, so I ignore it.
X11 manually run gives the following output (last 2 lines are what
happens when I run the app):
---
XFree86 Version 4.4.0 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600)
[DRI] screen 0 installation complete
Screen 0 added: 1280x1024 @ (0,0)

removing from list!
xp_lock_window: assertion failed: w != ((void *)0)
xterm: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) or KillClient on X server ":0.0"
---
There's nothing in Library/Logs/CrashReporter that seems related.
The last entry in quartz-wm.crash.log looks has X11 crashes, but it's
days older than the last crash.
Please help!
