Ok, I picked up my Tiger DVD, and I found that the DVD
included X11 1.1.1! Sorry I didn't know that until today
but I should have checked it out first.
It installed without any trouble, and updating to 2006
(1.1.3) is also done successfully. So now I can write this
message on my PowerBook G4.

I removed /Library/Receipts/X11* folder, but 1.0 installer
still said that the newer version is already installed.
Same symptom is reproduced on MacBook Pro on which X11 is
never installed. I hope X11 1.1.1 is available via net to
solve the problem of 1.0 installer.
Anyway, I'm very happy to solve my problem. Thank you all!
