Hi all
I have installed LEopard on My Macintosh Quad and everything seemed to
go well.
I compiled a X11 program and I had the problem of -lGL, so I decided to
erase the Leopard X11 and
install Tiger X11 using http://aaroniba.net/articles/x11-leopard.html
The -lGL problem does not come from the new version of X11, it comes
from the new version of ld. You will have it with older versions of X11
also.
Of course, the Tiger X11 doen not work, So i decided to return on
Leopard X11 of the DVD.
Of course? It works for others.
Once installed I tried to run it (Applications/Utilities/X11.app) but
nothing appens.
The Console Manager says
11/3/07 10:37:48 PM [0x0-0x15015].org.x.X11_launcher[138]
command=/usr/X11/bin/xterm
11/3/07 10:37:48 PM com.apple.launchd[100]
([0x0-0x15015].org.x.X11_launcher[138]) Stray process with PGID equal to
this dead job: PID 139 PPID 1 login
If you have a dead job that gets in the way, it might be a good idea to
reboot...
