Alex,
Those steps to revert to Tiger's X11 have you remove the launchd plist
required to launch X11.
Download: http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/10.5/X11server-46/org.x.X11.plist
Place the file in /System/Library/LaunchAgents/
Then run:
sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/org.x.X11.plist
You may need to reboot here...
That should fix the problem though.
