In case this detail has not been noted. When you move an X11 window from one space to another, and then go to move the X11 window in the new space, once you click and grab the window, on the first movement of the mouse the window jumps to its position from which is was dragged in the previous space. It looks like the internal current window location parameter is not being updated when the window is moved from one space to another, based on its location in the 'zoomed' space.
