Hello,

Thanks for the suggestions.

I had /etc/sshd_config already changed on the host (MP) machine. I
took another suggestion to turn X11 forwarding on in /etc/ssh_config
(no 'd') on the client (MBP) machine. Rebooting galore, and
unfortunately, echo $DISPLAY (while ssh'ed) turns up nothing.

I've tried ssh'ing with:

ssh -X email@hidden

and

ssh -Y email@hidden

to no avail. I feel suspiciously like I'm missing something key here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rgds,
J.
