G'Day Ben,
Please add my voice to the chorus congratulating you for making X11 workable under Leopard :-).
There's been a minor issue I've noticed on my dual monitor system that I may as well bring up. It was on 1.2a6 (the first version I tried) and is still on 1.2a7. My desktop configuration consists of a 17" MacBook Pro with an external 21" monitor (sitting on a couple books) positioned above the laptop's screen. The menubar is set to the very top of the external monitor. The laptop's resolution is 1680x1050 and the external monitor's is set to 1600x1200. I've arranged the external monitor's horizontal offset such that it's 1600 pixel width is centered with respect to the laptop's 1680 pixel width i.e. the external monitor has 40 pixels missing on either side compared with the laptop.
The issue I'm seeing is that when I start up the very first xterm it surfaces on the external monitor (the one with the menubar) but the window is too far to the left such that both the red and yellow close/minimize buttons at the top left of the title bar have been cropped off the left edge of the screen. Interestingly, all subsequent xterms start up on the external monitor properly left justified to it's screen i.e. those windows are fully visible. Ony the first xterm of the session has this issue. So there's something else for you to fix in your copious free time :-)
I also cast my vote for replacing the broken X11 in 10.5.0 with the non-broken X11 for 10.5.1. Can't imagine why this wouldn't be a no-brainer...
Thanks,
Mick
