It shouldn't affect Americans, and who cares about the rest of the
world? (I kid! I kid!) Honestly, I'm not at all knowledgeable about
international keyboards and such. (Actually I'm not so smart about US
keyboards either...) However, it's worth considering that with the
current arrangement owners of portable macs have *no* alt key
whatsoever under X. Considering how important Alt is in X apps,
that's a Very Big Problem. Perhaps we should ask how to handle this
on the X.org mailing lists.
