was already annoying before Leopard and its Spaces but now with
Spaces on, it gets worse:
1) open a GTK app in one Space, an app which would make a tooltip
appear when the cursor is over some position X
2) go to another space and watch the GTK tooltips appear when
leaving the cursor stand still long enough over that position X
Anyway, many thanks to Ben Byers for his hard work on solving X11
problems on Leopard (and hopefully those problems inherited from
earlier version of the OS) and for keeping everybody informed on
this mailing list. This is much appreciated for I spent 1/2 of my
time with an X11 application (the Python IDE Wing if you wish to
know).
