Ben, you mentioned that Xquartz based off of master is not stable...
we're having many crashes in the rootless code. Have you found any
ways to make it crash more easily, so I can test for this crash?
Also, at what points in master did you notice this problem? Did you
try it before or after the 1.4 branch (Aug 15)? I see you have
commits in master in February, was it working then?
It's *always* been unstable. At first, the event handling didn't work
at all so it wasn't usable; then, once I'd rewritten mouse and
keyboard support, it seemed "okay" (meaning xterm worked). Months
later, I tried running Eagle (ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/eagle/program/4.16r2/eagle-m11-eng-4.16r2.tgz
is a free demo; ppc binary runs under rosetta), and as soon as I
started clicking in menus, it crashed. (There's got to be an easier
repro than that; I'll start looking for one).
