Hi Josh,

Did you try the "quick install" directions near the top of this page?
http://www.x.org/wiki/XDarwin

curl -LO http://people.freedesktop.org/~jeremyhu/x11-apple/x11_update.sh
sudo sh x11_update.sh

(These are two commands on two lines even though line-wrapping may
make it look like three.)

I ask because 1) that works for me and 2) I don't know which set of
instructions you're following.
