I am not surprised of such problems, since X is not an integral part
of MacOS X's GUI.
I have never ran into this exact problem myself, but X (on Tiger) does
occasionally lose track of whether, say, the Control key is depressed
or not (so that all single clicks would sometimes suddenly become
emulated right clicks). I believe these might be similar problems,
perhaps a key press/release event has been lost.

The 'net used to be run by smart people; now many sites are run by
idiots. So SAD... (Sites that does spam filtering on mails sent to the
abuse contact need to be cut off the net...)
