That's the plan... to move the functionality to X11.app rather than
the wm or another app. There will be a separate thread in X11.app to
handle this (as an X11 client)
The
issue with that though, is that if you do so the memory usage of
X11.app
will (or at least did a few months ago) blow up. There's (or was) a
leak in
the transfer between X11 and aqua, but it does make it very usable, if
you're interested I'll resurrect the configuration I used to make this
happen, but the present solution I have is also reasonably acceptable.
The memory leak is still there. I have not touched anything with copy/
paste. I intend to kill that leak when I move the code over to
X11.app and out of quartz-wm.Attachment:
