Looks like the user is setting the DISPLAY variable somewhere in their
profile. The DISPLAY variable in Leopard should be off the form
/tmp/launch-xxxxxx/:0 so that launchd starts X11.app when needed. I
would imagine that unsetting DISPLAY would fix this.
