X11 2.1.3 starts two servers

I upgraded the x11 in Leopard to 2.1.3 from the XQuartz site. Now, when I double click on Applications/Utilities/x11, I always get two X servers running at the same time. I think they started coming up on : 0 and :1, but now they are on :1 and :2.

Why is this happening now?
