Can you please post the relevant sections from the console log (in /A/
U/Console.app)? Also, what happens when you try just running 'startx'
from Terminal.app with no X server running at all? Do you have
$DISPLAY set anywhere in your environment (what is 'echo $DISPLAY' in
Terminal.app?)
