When I was using the XDarwin distibution with Tiger I used to be able to choose which keys mapped to each particular mouse combination.
I upgraded to Leopard and the X11.app that came with it.  I encountered the well documented problems regarding emulation and the absence of a full screen facility and decided to install the X11.app for Tiger using some instructions I found at http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/xquartz/wiki/X11-UsersFAQ

This works really well but comes up in full screen mode.  I can't get to the X11.app->File->Preferences or the like to change the way the emulation keys are mapped.

In particular, I need to be able to generate a mod1 mouse2 and mod1 mouse 3.  I use these to quickly (window grab) move and resize my windows. I use WindowMaker.

Is there a way to get to the missing preferences menu or to achieve the same effect by getting at the config files below?
