I manage to serve x11 to other mac machines but I've not been successful to serve x11 to linux boxes. If I revert the situation, i.e. linux boxes serving x11 to mac os x x11 clients, there is no problem.
The mac os x machines can be either a MBP running 10.5.1 with x11 2.1.3 or a imac running mac os X 10.4.11 with x11 1.1.3.
I connect always using ssh -Y user@machine after xhost + then I set the DISPLAY variable export DISPLAY="ipaddr:0.0" and then test using xterm
Don't know if this is a mac os x/x11 or a linux/x11 problem.....
