Hi

I've been having a few problems with X11.

1. OpenOffice doesn't display when launched from the droplet. soffice.bin is running, but nothing on the screen. If I run soffice.bin directly from an xterm, then it displays. I did a bit of research, and read about problems with font problems dating from Nov 2006. Is this the same problem?

2. Intermittently, when I start X11 (from the icon that I put in the Dock), then xterm starts, does not display, and consumes 100% CPU.

3. Poor font rendering e.g. when running Solaris x86 Opera over ssh -X, browsing www.eetimes.com. Opera native Mac OS X displays this fine, and on the Solaris desktop it's fine as well. But the remote display on Mac X11 shows the fonts as if they are low resolution bitmap fonts.
