That's probably your safest bet. You probably have /etc/
bashrc.system_default also.
But yes, X11 was set to 256 colors, thanks for the hint! Is there a
specific reason why 256 colors don't work?
Yes. It's broken. =/ Sorry I can't be more specific. I spent about
2 days looking at it back in December and made a little bit of
progress, but still not sure the full extent of the problem.
