X11 Forwarding using Leopard

  • Subject: X11 Forwarding using Leopard

Hi, All,

I apologize if this has been answered, but I am having trouble getting X forwarding to work on Leopard. I have tried the following:

1. Run Terminal.App
2. ssh -Y email@hidden

<this hangs for quite a while>

3. When in anywhere.com, I type "xemacs".
4. I get the following errors:

 /tmp/launch-9pE5Sk/: unknown host. (nodename nor servname provided, or not known)

Does anyone know how to fix this? I updated to the X11-2.1.3 package which did fix my other issues.

Thanks,
Sal Rappoccio
