So, slower here can be defined as "more data must be transferred, and
thus time taken to make the connection work", so, yeah, slower.
Though I suppose if defined based on the CPU time of the server remote
X might be slightly faster in certain cases, though Xvnc
(specifically, Xvnc, not VNC reading from an existing X server) should
even be faster in those cases.
