With that xmodmap, you should be able to press alt-p to get π
Run xev. What's the output say when you press alt-p?

Works for me into an xterm. Do you have a custom ~/.Xmodmap in
place? What's the output of 'xmodmap'? Do you have the latest
release (2.1.4)?

Hi,
Using xmgrace on mac os x 10.5.2 and having performed the latest
update, i cannot type any µ or π (alt + m or p) in a x11 window.
Anybody has an idea about that?
Thanks for your help
