The message says, "It is suggested that you install the latest XQuartz
release after updating to 10.5.2 (and any future 10.5.x or security
updates)."
All the updates in the security update are already in 2.1.4. What is
in the security update is a subset of the changes in 2.1.4.

I updated the info on the website (http://xquartz.macosforge.org) to
describe the changes in the 2008-002 security update.
I don't mean to be rude, but this seems unhelpful. If we are already
running 2.1.4, should we update or not? Does this update provide any
security fixes that are *not* in 2.1.4? Would it work, or be a good
idea, to apply the security update and then reinstall 2.1.4?
