Hi Jeremy,
I'd like to thank you and everybody else at Apple and elsewhere for
your great work which has brought X11 back from purgatory!
I have a specific question about one point:
The main changes from 2.3.2_beta3 are the integration of xpbproxy
into the server's AppKit thread
I have installed the pbproxy that George P. Staplin advertised on
this very list back in September. Can I just install 2.3.2 rc1? Or
do I have to take some special step beforehand?
Yes, you can go ahead and install this "over" that. You might want to
delete the /usr/X11/bin/*pbproxy binary to keep your system clean, but
it being there won't actually cause problems.
I just remembered that he also installed a /usr/X11/lib/X11/xinitrc.d/
98-pbproxy.sh (can someone please confirm that filename) init
script... you should delete that script (I will update the postinstall
script of the package in the next rc to delete it if it's there)
