failing to get invoked on the MacPro?
Do you have a custom ~/.bashrc or ~/.profile or ~/.bash_profile?
Check /etc/profile on both machines to make sure they're the same... I
think I remember an issue when upgrading from Tiger that would cause /
etc/profile to not be the new one.
