X11 Dock Icon

I know this is more a feature request than a usability issue, but can we have a different background colour for the X11 Dock icon?

The reason I ask is that, as seen in the screenshot at
http://members.iinet.net.au/~akozakis/X11DockIcon.png, I have the Dock on the right hand side of my screen. This removes the 3D mirror effect from the Dock, and the X11 icon is kind of hard to see.
