Ok, the reason I was just using 2.3.2 is because 2.3.2_beta1 is not a
valid version string for use in the Info.plist... starting with the
next beta release, I'll use the ".90" for alphas, ".91" for betas, and
".99" for rcs... so for example:
2.3.1.91.3 = 2.3.2_beta3
2.3.1.99.1 = 2.3.2_rc1
I hope that'll help ya.

(Testing 2.3.2beta2 btw. Say Jeremy, why does the "about X11"
window
not identify beta builds correctly?)
It does. Report the 1.4.2-appleXX number.
I realize that that number means something to *you*, but it's entirely
unhelpful to the people who are trying to beta-test for you. When I
have a couple different beta versions laying about and I can't
remember
which one I installed last, I need to be able to tell that from the
about-window. Even more to the point, after 2.3.2 is actually out,
it would be a very good idea if it were obvious to non-expert
inspection
whether I have the release version installed or am still on a beta.
So please make the about-window labeling match the downloaded package
name, or at least make it clear how to mentally convert one to the
other.
