Remote X display of OS X applications

  • Subject: Remote X display of OS X applications

The video card on my MacPro seems to have croaked. It boots up and I can
log in remotely.

Do all Mac applications use X for their display? I.e., can I run a .app
file remotely to my Linux machine? I tried Disk Utility.app, but it did
not seem to work using the open command.

Thanks,
Jim Rome
