BTW, you don't need to shutdown/restart X11. As of 2.3.1ish, Just
SIGHUP your quartz-wm:

Just out of interest, why isn't this the default. Maybe I'm missing
something but I cannot think of a case where I wouldn't want this to
happen, given the difficulties with resizing windows in OSX (i.e. the
fact you can only do it from the lower right corner) ? Is there some
side effect of turning this on I should know about ?
