I was mistaken: you cannot disable it in the preferences, regardless
of your mouse. The only thing you can change (I glanced too quickly at
it) is the modifier key you can use in combination with the mighty
mouse's scroll ball to zoom in/out (which also is ctrl by default).
There does not appear to be an option to disable the special meaning
of ctrl-click in Mac OS X.
