I am puzzled as to where the /opt/local/lib version of the X11
libraries came from. I applied the 10.6.3 osx upgrade, but
assumed I just got just the /usr/X11R6/lib ones. I have not installed
X11 from the xquartz site since updating to 10.6.3, and I did
not (at least, knowingly) build it vs macports.
Does macports build X11 even if there is a /usr/X11R6/lib
one available? I'm disconcerted to find an /opt/local/lib X11 there.
I found it by accident building some software (which is defaulting to
i386) and for some reason it found the /opt X11 (pure x86_64) one instead
of the /usr/X11R6 one, so it failed to link...
Thanks.
