configure ignores that option:
configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --without-ipv6-cname
I did not see anything like it in configure --help
I can see code about it in the configure script, though. Confusing. Looks like stuff for the xemacs mailing list. I'm subscribed and sent a message but have not heard back yet.
