I have a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.4
with the latest XCode (3.2.3) and MacPorts (1.9.1).
I'd like to use rxvt as default terminal in X11.
I installed rxvt from MacPorts.
Then I created an entry in the X11 menĂ¹ "Applications":
Applications -> Customize
I duplicated the entry for xterm with the following settings:
Name: Rxvt
Command: /opt/local/bin/rxvt
Shortcut: n
I changed the shortcut for xterm from n to t to avoid confusion.
But when I select the Rxvt entry from the menĂ¹ or when I click command-n
nothing happen.
If I launch /opt/local/bin/rxvt from xterm o from the Terminal it works ok.
The same configuration on my iMac works without any problem.
I tried other X applications, e.g. xmahjongg (again from MacPorts) and
they work fine.
Is there a way to get a sort of log from X11 to see error messages, if
any, when I launch rxvt?
Has anyone experienced similar problems?
Thanks for you help.
