Define "stick" ... does it prevent mouse events from going to other X clients (ie: it's grabbed), or are you moving your windows even though the mouse is up (because the client didn't receive a mouse up event)?

I have a sad engineering life just too full of meetings - all coordinated through iCal. I'll be using some cadtools on my linux box, with all the X11 windows displaying on my MacBook Pro, when all of a sudden a mouse-down event I'm in the middle of (e.g. a window move or doing a selection rectangle) will just stick and there's absolutely nothing I can do to unstick the mouse. I've tried cmd-tabbing to another application and things work OK there but when I return to X11 the problem picks up right where it left off (I also want to say that even if in that other application that if my mouse touches a X11 window that the problem also picks right up again). Even going to another space and coming back doesn't fix it. I literally have to quit X11 and start over. Sooo annoying.

It will come back as a duplicate, but at least you increase the duplicate count (which is important). The more dupes there are, the more obvious it is to developers not involved with X11 that this is an issue that impacts customers.
