Whoops. Sorry about that. Indeed I get confused with such antiques ;) and skipped over his mentioning the Macbook... so yeah, if he has the first generation of MB, then he's stuck on SL. I think the second generation were 64bit and thus run Lion, but I have trouble keeping such trivia in memory.
