Hi all,
for what it's worth, I have the exact same problem - being
disconnected at random with the error message
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
Just like the original poster, I began experiencing this problem after
switching to Lion, and without changing
anything in my local or remote configuration.
I can also provide logs if that's any use.
Cheers,
V.

I have since upgraded to Xquartz 2.6.3 and the problem persists. Does anyone else experience this problem? I can provide more details/logs upon request.
